Manual for Organising a World Heritage Young Experts Forum
Our experiences in organising a World Heritage Young Experts Forums are now published in a Manual. The online Manual aims at sharing insights and recommendations of the YEF 2015. It gives background informations about World Heritage Education Programmes, shows approaches for how to draft the programme or for the selection of participants. Moreover, it provides recommendations for aspects to consider for the logistics. The main part features methodologies for implementing the different programme points, such as the hands-on activities, a Model of the World Heritage Committee or for the drafting of the declaration. Have a look and get inspired.
Declaration of the Young Experts Forum
In vivid discussions, interactive workshops and hands-on work the young experts developed ideas how to make World Heritage fit for the future. Their suggestions and commitments for a sustainable management of World Heritage Sites resulted in the declaration of the Young Experts Forum 2015.
Online Plattform "Young Heritage Experts"
This is what true commitment looks like: Three months after the 39th session, the participants of the Young Experts Forum 2015 initiated “Young Heritage Experts”. Resulted of the YEF-declaration, the online platform aims to serve as a think tank and an international networking platform for young professionals, activists, and researches in the field of cultural and natural heritage.
